limonata_10777-1 head ~924,600 status: building

We ship in blocks.

This is the Limonata roadmap, read like a block explorer. What is shipped is confirmed - live on-chain, no take-backs. What we are building sits in the mempool, encrypted and about to reveal. And mainnet is simply the next block - we can already see its height from here.

Rule 01

Usable by anyone

Face ID sign-in, zero gas fees. No seed phrase, no fee token.

Rule 02

Fair by construction

An encrypted mempool kills front-running at the consensus layer.

Rule 03

No inflation

Validators earn real fees for running a node, not for holding a coin.

Rule 04

Hard to capture

Run a validator without buying LIMO. Voting power is capped.

◆ Confirmed

shipped · live on testnet

Signed, sealed, running. Everything below is in production on the testnet today - you can use it right now.

Sovereign EVM Layer 1Confirmedblock 0 · genesis

An independent Cosmos-SDK chain with its own validator set and a full EVM - not a rollup settling to someone else's chain. Explorer, faucet, RPC and a custom indexer, all live.

Face ID walletConfirmedsigner: P-256 passkey

Create a wallet and sign transactions with WebAuthn passkeys. No seed phrase, no browser extension - it feels like a normal app.

Gasless in consensusConfirmedmodule: x/gassponsor

The protocol sponsors gas at the base layer - no relayer, no paymaster contract. Users transact without ever holding a fee token.

Fee-only economicsConfirmedgov prop 2 · 1 gwei

No staking inflation. Every block, fees are split between validators, a burn, and the pool that funds gasless usage. Validators are paid to operate, not to hold.

Encrypted mempool Live · anti-MEVactivated #766558

The one everyone waits for. Transactions are encrypted until they are ordered, so no one can front-run or sandwich you. Fairness enforced in consensus, not promised in a blog post.

Transparent validator DKG Live · trustlessactivated #998805

The encrypted mempool is now truly trustless. The validator set generates and holds the threshold key together, on-chain inside consensus - no trusted third party, no dealer, no coordinator, and no key setup. Validators join just by running the node. Decryption power is stake-weighted and needs more than two-thirds of committee stake to unlock; if stake ever concentrates too far it fails closed, and it rekeys automatically as stake moves.

Validator Proving GroundsConfirmedgrounds.limonata.xyz

Operators earn a genesis seat by actually running the network well - coordinated upgrades, load days, recovery drills - scored live on-chain. No insiders' list.

◈ In the mempool

building · awaiting reveal

Encrypted, committed, and about to land. These are the blocks we are assembling now - the last mile to a network that can run without us.

Wallet recovery: never lose your accountIn mempoolbackup keys + guardians

Today a Face ID wallet lives on one device. The next account version decouples your address from the key, so you can rotate to a fresh passkey without losing the account - add a backup device or a security key, or set trusted guardians who can restore you after a time-locked delay. Still seedless, still self-custodial.

Governance to the communityIn mempoolon-chain gov

Move the parameters and privileged roles the team holds today onto on-chain governance, so the network truly runs itself.

◇ The last step

before genesis

The last thing we lock in before we deploy - and the whole reason Limonata exists.

Progressive decentralizationFinal stepmodule: x/vpcap

The final piece before we ship: seat an independent validator set, cap voting power so no operator can dominate, and remove any team majority for good. It gets baked into the genesis binary - and after launch it keeps going, the set growing by governance 16 → 30 → 50 → 100, until the chain fully belongs to the people who run and use it, with no head to point to. That is the whole point.

▣ Pending block

the deploy
Assembling block: genesis(mainnet)

Mainnet. Everything from block one.

No bolted-on upgrades. Mainnet launches with capped voting power, a decentralized validator set, the encrypted mempool and transparent DKG active, and governance on-chain - all baked into the genesis binary. An independent security audit and a public bug bounty come before launch.

Help mine the next block.

A healthy chain needs independent operators. You can run a Limonata validator without buying or holding LIMO - and earn your seat at genesis.
